What is your ID Number?
This number is what frequently appears on your Hokie Passport or University Library Borrower Card. The number is used by the Libraries to access your library account and to checkout books in your name.
IDs accepted at the University Libraries
To protect our patrons, we require that everyone checking out an item present a valid form of identification. The Libraries accept:
- Hokie Passport
- Virginia Driver's License
- Virginia ID card issued by the DMV
- University Libraries Borrower Card
Student Hokie Passport
Faculty/staff Hokie Passport
Wage Employee Hokie Passport
University Libraries Borrowing Card
Recreational Sports ID Card
University Conference Services Card
Virginia Driver's License
Virginia Children's ID Card
Virginia Adult's ID Card
You may obtain a University Libraries Borrower Card if you are a Virginia resident or if you are attending a Virginia college or university. You will need to present your Virginia Driver's License, Virginia ID Card, or your school ID card. A University Libraries Borrower card will be issued to you. Please present this card when checking out books or requesting any other transaction.
Patrons without proper identification may not checkout library materials.

Sat: 9:00am - 8:00pm
*During 24 hour operation, a valid Hokie Passport is required to access or remain in the library between 12 midnight and 7:30am.
