Overdue materials

Overdue Notices

As a courtesy, the library notifies patrons of overdue materials on the following schedule:

• First notice: sent 3 days prior to due date
• Second notice: sent when item is 1 day overdue
• Third notice: sent when item is 5 days overdue
• Fourth notice: sent when item is 15 days overdue

The overdue notices are automatically generated by Addison and are sent via email. If a patron has no email address on file at the library, an overdue letter is mailed via US Mail. It is important that the library has your current mailing address and email address on file. For additional information on email addresses, please see our policies page.
