What are course reserves?

Course reserves are high-demand materials either set aside by the library or faculty for their classes. Reserves could include

  • textbooks for a class
  • additional class readings (books or articles)
  • videos
  • personal copies of books supplied by faculty

Because of the higher demand, check out periods are shorter: 2 weeks, 2 days, or 3 hours in many cases.

Reserves can be renewed in person (not online) except during exams, when demand is even higher.
