  1. Run search.
  2. Click on an item of interest and then on CITENOW!.
  3. Choose Export citation to: EndNote.
  4. Select an EndNote library and your item is automatically imported.

Notes

An alternative to sending individual items to an EndNote library using CITENOW! is to mark selected results, save to favorites, display favorites list, mark all records, and the email marked records to yourself.

Download EndNote (from campus network)

The university has a site license for the EndNote product and makes it available to all Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students.

Only on campus users, which includes those connecting to the Internet via VPN, can download EndNote directly from the Software Distribution Office site. Once downloaded and installed, check periodically to see if there have been updates.
