Importing citations into EndNote

Import process

1. Run search, add selected records to folder.
2. Click on folder icon when records have been added.
3. Save to disk, click on Bibliographic Manager tab.
4. Choose citations in Direct Export format.
5. Click Save, choose EndNote Library, and references will import automatically.

If direct export does not work, try saving citations in a format that can be uploaded to bibliographic management software, then use appropriate import filter.

Connection files are available.  Download latest files from the EndNote site.  User ID and Password are not required.  Edit the connection settings and uncheck the User ID and Password boxes.

Direct export uses a generic filter; using the database specific import filter may provide better results, although it involves additional steps.
