Wiley Interscience journal exclusions
The Virginia Tech Libraries subscribe to many of the electronic journals offered by Wiley Interscience. They are listed in the electronic journals database and in the library catalog, Addison.
However, there are some of the Wiley titles that are paid for through a "token" system. That is, Virginia Tech faculty, staff and students may access these journals, but they are required to register at the Wiley site before downloading articles from these journals. [Remember to use Off Campus Sign In, if you are connecting from home or somewhere outside the VT ip-address range.]
So, if you see the following message:
This means you will need to click on the "Register Now" link under the Login box and fill in the information on the following form:
All registered users are required to provide a valid e-mail address. You will receive a one-time authentication email to the address you provide. Once you have validated this by clicking the link in the message, your new login will be set. Afterward, when you return to the site, you need only enter your e-mail and password to login.
If the journal you want denies you access, even after logging in, please contact Ask a Librarian with information about the problem.
