Video Encyclopedia of the 20th Century

The Video Encyclopedia of the 20th Century is a collection of optical discs containing speeches, news clips, and other visual images covering most of the 20th century (1900-1988). The index and discs are part of the optical disc collection and can be requested at the Circulation/Reserve Desk; the call number is Optical Disc no. 8. The index provides subject access to this large collection. A computer and optical disc station is set up to help users find information on the discs. These items do not circulate, but can be viewed at the 20th Century Encyclopedia Optical Disc station.
