8/18/04 Wireless Connectivity - Registration, Changes, etc. From Robert Sebek: The way the wireless network works has changed.
Before, users had to register their network card with CNS to get access to the network. Then, once their card was configured properly, the network just worked whenever they came in range.
Now users must register their PID to access the network. Users previously registered under their card are "supposed" to be automatically moved over to the new system.
Users now must login to the network with their PID/password before it will work.
New users/people with questions should be directed to < http://wireless.cns.vt.edu>. There's a REGISTER link
8/17/04 Voter Registration There may be other places around the area to register for the upcoming (and all future) elections, but here is a link to the Montgomery County Registrar's Office. Here also you will find a link to the Virginia State Board of Elections site.
