You can search more than one EBSCOhost database simultaneously by starting in a single database, using the Select Databases link and choosing additional databases to search. You can view the additional databases alphabetically or grouped by subject. We suggest using the Detailed View link to see a complete list of EBSCOhost databases with descriptions to guides your choices. Searching multiple EBSCOhost databases is most useful when the selected databases share a common thesaurus or set of subjects or descriptors.
If you are searching more than one database, the limiters common to the databases appear under the Limit your results heading on the search screen. Some limiters will appear in the common limiters area even if they are not in all the databases, provided they are supported by at least one of the databases being searched. These include the Full Text, Published Date, Publication, Peer Reviewed and References Available limiters.
The database-specific limiters appear under the heading Special limiters for: Database Name. (e.g., Special limiters for: Academic Search Premier) If you select a special limiter, it is applied only to the database under which it appears.
