Search multiple databases simultaneously

ProQuest databases

You can search multiple ProQuest databases simultaneously (the historical databases, including American Periodical Series Online and the historical newspapers New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times can be searched together, but not in conjunction with the non-historical ProQuest databases). The two subsets of databases are also listed as ProQuest Historical Periodicals and ProQuest Recent Periodicals.

You can access the Databases page by clicking on the Databases selected link, just below the tabs at the top left of most pages, or by clicking the Select multiple databases link next to the Database drop-down menu on the Advanced or Basic Search pages.

Use the Databases page to see what subject area a database covers, to see the publications included, and to select the databases you want to search.
