You can receive table of contents alerts for journals and other publications from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). You will need to create an account before signing up for alerts.
After creating an account and signing in to the ACM Digital Library use the Browse ACM Publications menu on the home page to choose from among the journals, magazines, transactions, newsletters, and special interest groups provided by ACM. On the home page for any particular publication, look for the Tools and Resources box on the right side of the screen. You'll see two options for TOC Services: email and RSS.
If you want email alerts when new issues are published, choose that option and confirm your email address. If you want to subscribe to the equivalent RSS feed, choose that option and copy the URL for inclusion in your feed reader software.
Once you are 'alerted' to the existence of a journal issue or article, search the Journal Title Database to see if the journal issue is available online or physically in the library. For journal articles not owned locally or available electronically, submit a request through ILLiad.
