Visitors should inquire at Parking Services about parking passes, after hours parking, and special event parking restrictions.

Newman Library (including Special Collections)

Newman Library (grid N4 on the main campus map) is located near the intersections of Drillfield Drive and Kent Street, and Drillfield Drive and Alumni Mall. It is connected to Torgersen Hall by the bridge that crosses over Alumni Mall, and it is across a plaza from the University Bookstore and Squires Student Center. All Blacksburg Transit routes stop within easy walking distance of Newman Library. Entrances are located on the corner of Drillfield Drive and Alumni Mall and through the Torgersen Bridge.

The closest parking for visitors can be found around Drillfield Drive or the Squires lot.

Art + Architecture branch

The Art + Architecture is located in room 100 of Cowgill Hall, which is behind Burruss Hall and between Johnston Student Center and Hancock Hall.

Visitors can park in the lot beside Derring Hall or the large commuter lot between Prices Fork and Perry Street.

Veterinary Medicine branch

The Veterinary Medicine branch library is located in the Phase III Building of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine on Duck Pond Drive near the "cage" residential parking lot.

Visitors can park in the lot next to the building, or parking in the large residential parking lot next to the complex. Visitors must stop at the Veterinary Clinic service desk and get a visitor's pass to enter the building.

Northern Virginia Center Resource Center

The NVC Resource Center is located at 7054 Haycock Road, Falls Church, Virginia, 22043, near the West Falls Church/VT/UVA Metro station.

Visitors can use metered parking at the Center or the Metro parking lot across the street.
