Mark items of interest by clicking the Add icon, then click on Folder has items. 2. Click Save and then the Bibliographic Manager tab. 3. Select the "Citations in a format that can be uploaded to bibliographic management software" option. 4. Save output as a plain text file. 5. Import using this filter. CAVEATS & NOTES: Author emails are included in the Author (AU-) field. They appear following a number, typically 1 or 2. This filter has been set to send the information following these numbers in the author field to the author address field. Author entries for numbers 1-6 have been set up. In those records that include higher numbers, the email addresses may not import and the author field may display extraneous characters. Check the original saved text file to see if the import was accurate; if not, edit manually as needed. Note that the Month and Year are run together in the PD field (e.g., JUL2006), but the Month is ignored when records are imported, so if your output style requires a month name rather than a number you will have to add it. The Month and Year are also represented in the Date field in the format YYYYMMDD. When there is no actual day as part of the publication date, 01 is used. Thus, July 2006 is represented as 20060701. July 5th 2006 is represented as 20060705. DOIs (DI-) are sent to the Electronic Reference Number field. Prepend the string http://dx.doi.org/ to the DOI string and you have a URL that in most cases should take you to at least a summary page for the article. Access to the full text depends on your access rights. Move DOIs to the URL field if you prefer that choice. Accession numbers (AN-) are saved, but are usually of little interest to most people, so you may want to change to {IGNORE} Classification (CL-) and industry codes (IC-) are set to {IGNORE}. Change if you want to retain tis information. If your import includes records with foreign characters, try using the Unicode (UTF-8) text translation.
