Academic research is is a multi-step process that doesn't always go in a straight line; you may find yourself returning to previous stages as you refine your topic.

At any stage during the research process, you can get help from a librarian by using the Ask a Librarian chat and email service, emailing or phoning a librarian, or in person at the reference desk.

Newman Library semester hours

Sun: opens at 9 a.m.*
Mon-Thur: open 24 hours*
Fri: closes at 8 p.m.
Sat: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

* During 24 hour operation, a valid Hokie Passport is required to access or remain in the library between 12 midnight and 7:30am.

 

 

Art + Architecture Library spring hours

Sun: 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Mon-Thurs: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Fri: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sat: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
