Interlibrary Loan

If you are already registered for service, please submit your request to ILLiad.

Interlibrary Loan services are available for research purposes to all Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff regardless of location.

We borrow books and media, in addition to obtaining scans/photocopies of articles from other libraries, which are then delivered to you. This service is available for any item not owned by the University Libraries, or items that are missing, damaged, or at the bindery that will not be available within the next two weeks.  ILL does not, however, request e-resource materials, including e-books, that are available electronically to University Library patrons.
