Generally there are no charges for book or media loans or for photocopies articles obtained from other libraries via Interlibrary Loan. Some documents can only be obtained by purchase from commercial vendors. In such cases you will be charged only for the purchase price of the document on a cost recovery basis. If there will be a vendor charge for the material you requested, we will contact you for approval before we place an order.
Beginning January 17, 2012, Interlibrary Loan will start charging a $1/day fine for overdue ILL material checked out to patrons.
- There will also be a $5 fine for removal of any burgundy book straps that have been places on any ILL books.
- These fines will be added to your My Library Account. If you have any questions, please contact the ILL department.
- Fines will be assessed for all patron types, including faculty and staff who are not charged overdue fines for locally checked out books.
