Returning ILL materials

When returning a book or media material borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, please be sure that the ILLiad identification label remains on the item so it will be clearly identified as an Interlibrary Loan item.  Additionally please return any bookstrap affixed to the item; items with missing straps will be assessed a $5.00 fee.

Please return all ILL materials directly to:

• The Interlibrary Loan return bin at the Circulation Desk in Newman Library.
  • Media and fragile items should be returned directly to the Circulation Desk staff. 
  • Please DO NOT return ILL materials to any of the outside bins.
• The designated return area in the delivery location (VetMed or Northern VA) where you picked up the item.
• Or for items that were mailed to your address, use our prepaid return address label to return the item by first class mail to:
