Librarians are happy to provide instruction on library resources and services in your usual classroom/lecture hall. We can demonstrate databases and discuss research strategies tailored for your assignment. Students can follow along on their laptop, if reminded to bring them to the class. These sessions are most effective when you are available in the classroom to answer questions about your assignment are are able to provide context for the librarian's instructions.
We find hands-on use of library resources result in more student retention of the instruction, so if your class is smaller in size, consider arranging a session in one of our classrooms where each student will have a computer to work on their assignment.
Contact your college librarian to arrange a session.
