Graduate Education Week: Grand Opening of Graduate Study Lounge on Mar. 25, 2008

March 18, 2008 – In conjunction with Graduate Education Week, the University Libraries is sponsoring a Grand Opening of the Graduate Study Lounge in room 416 Newman Library. The celebration of the new space will begin at 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, inside the Lounge. Dean of the Libraries Eileen Hitchingham and President of the Graduate Student Assembly Joseph McFadden will speak briefly. Refreshments will be served.
The Graduate Study Lounge is a space reserved for graduate students to study and relax. Access is limited through the Hokie Passport, which must be swiped before the door will open. (If your Hokie Passport does not open the door, contact the Graduate School.)
Lockers are available for free checkout. Stop in the Dean's Suite on the 6th floor to reserve one.
