netLibrary allows placing holds on in-use ebooks

March 15, 2010 – We have access to nearly 50,000 ebooks from netLibrary. Only a single user can view a given netLibrary ebook at a time. If an ebook is in use, you now have the opportunity to place a hold on that ebook and then be notified when it is available for your use. The ebook will be held for your exclusive use for a limited time.

When an ebook is in use by another patron, you see a link for the hold request option or the notification request option. Click the link to receive an email message when a copy of the title is available. You will need a netLibrary account to place the hold.

See our netLibrary page for more information on these ebooks and our ebooks page for more information about other ebook sources.
