Feb. 21, 2011 – Construction has begun to install the Café on the first floor of Newman Library.

Heavy demolition will take place Monday through Wednesday of this week. There will be much noise. A barrier has been installed to try and keep dust contained.

The elevators are still accessible on the first floor. Special Collections is still accessible through their main entrance. You must access the main entrance through the stairwell (the door next to the top of the ramp).

The build-in is expected to last 7-9 days.
