Reciprocal borrowing card allows faculty privileges at other research libraries

May 17, 2011 – The OCLC reciprocal borrowing program allows faculty from Virginia Tech who plan to visit an institution participating in the reciprocal borrowing program privileges to borrow materials and for on-site usage at these institutions.

Full-time faculty can stop by the Circulation Desk in Newman Library to obtain a Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program card. The VT faculty member will then need to present this card along with their Hokie Passport to staff in the circulation department of the participating institution. The lending library determines whether the card will be accepted for on-site use and/or borrowing.

See our OCLC reciprocal faculty borrowing program page for more details on this program.
