Oct. 19, 2012 – EndNote is a software product that allows researchers to save and organize results of database searches or lists of bibliographic references. The university has a site license for EndNote that allows students, faculty, and staff to download and install the program. A web-based product called EndNote Web is also available. Windows and Mac versions are now available. An EndNote app for the iPad is due for release in the fall.
The university has a site license for the EndNote product and makes it available to all Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students.
Only on campus users, which includes those connecting to the Internet via VPN, can download EndNote directly from the Software Distribution Office site. Once downloaded and installed, check periodically to see if there have been updates.
