Aug. 18, 2013 – You can now print from a mobile device like a phone or iPad where you cannot install a traditional printer driver. Printing documents you have on these devices is as simple as emailing them as an attachment to one of the addresses listed below. Before you email a document, you'll need to register for the service.
Go to the Pharos Web Release page.
Enter your Hokie Passport number in the field labeled User ID (no dashes, just numbers). Leave the Password field blank. Click the Log on button.
Click your ID Number to show a menu where you can enter your email address.
Click the + icon to submit the address. You can enter more than one address, but each will need to be confirmed. Each email address entered will receive a confirmation email. Use the confirmation link in that email to finish the registration process.
The Pharos Web Release page will also how you your current account balance and any items in your print queue.

It can take a few seconds to a few minutes for your emailed documents to arrive at the print queue server (you can see your print queue at the Pharos Web Release site or when you swipe your Hokie Passport at any of our printers). On this site, you can change the black and white/color option, duplexing option, multiple pages per sheet option, and number of copies, or you can delete any item in your queue. You can also directly upload a file for printing.
