Full record

The U.S.Congressional Serial Set, including the American State Papers, is a series of reports and documents published by Congress. It's called the Serial Set because it was published in serial fashion, meaning that there are now more than 15,000 volumes in this series. Contents of this large collection include:

  • American State Papers
  • House and Senate journals
  • House and Senate documents
  • Private relief actions
  • Impeachment materials
  • Treaties and conventions
  • Serial Set maps

This online collection will replace many print and microform materials in Newman and remote storage. The searchable database, and the searchable PDFs contained within, should be much more user friendly for patrons using this collection.
