Port reservation form

This form is for requesting a reservation of Port: Digital Research Commons, room 3320 Torgersen. Intended primarily to create opportunities for data analysis, digital humanities, and e-science, Port offers a variety of software not widely available elsewhere on campus. nstalled applications, both licensed and open-source, supports qualitative, quantitative, and geospatial data analysis.

It is appropriate for small-group and one-on-one instruction (use our classroom reservation form for larger groups or classes).

Port comprises two spaces: a lab area with six computers and 12 seats, and a consulting and planning area with three computers and a small table. (That area is reserved for LISA statistics consultants' walk-in hours every week during the academic year; spring 2014 hours are [still TBD]). Your request will be confirmed through email or by phone. Requests should be made as far in advance as possible. Requests requiring installation of software or sample files will require at least ten working days to setup.

Classes can only be scheduled during times the library is open. Please check the current semester schedule.

Additional setup required

Staff require at least five working days to distribute sample files to classroom machines.
