DIGITAL IMAGES
Digital images are available through Luna
Insight , which is a program designed for viewing images online
and for classroom presentation. We are building the collection with
the help of art and architecture faculty to provide support for their
courses, and welcome any additional faculty to our effort. Students
may also use Luna for study and presentations.
SLIDES
The slide collection is in storage until the Art and
Architecture Library moves into its new quarters in Cowgill Hall. Faculty
may still borrow slides for classroom use.
ARCHITECTURAL
PLANS
The plan collection
consists of over 400 sets concentrating on American architecture of
the late 20th Century. The collection also includes maps and plans specific
to the VA Tech campus, to Blacksburg, and to various other cities and
areas around the world. The collection is restricted to VA Tech affiliates
and for educational purposes only. (See circulation information below.)
To
see which plans the library holds, search the Art
and Architecture Drawings Database. Only VATech affiliates may access
this database. For assistance with the collection contact Steve
Tatum.
