Sustainability week

The Virginia Tech Libraries are observing Sustainability Week September 18-20, 2012.

We have a new set of sustainability research guides:

The libraries also participates in the campus recycling effort. We recycle up to three tons of paper a month from Newman Library alone, including older newspaper issues, office paper collected from offices and public spaces, and discarded journals and magazines beyond the date range retained. We also recycle cardboard newly purchased and interlibrary loaned books arrive in. Bins for recycling plastic, glass, and aluminum containers are being added near water fountains around the building.
