Agricultural and extension education involves the study of teaching and learning, leadership and change, and extension and community education in the context of agriculture and the life sciences. Virginia Tech's degree and research emphasis is on: capacity building in planning, developing, and evaluating educational programs, enhancing leadership skills, and engaging stakeholders in viable, collaborative partnerships.
