    Group study room

Group study rooms with conference-style tables and white boards are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Four are located on the fourth floor and two on the second floor. Each is equipped with a large screen monitor that users can connect to their laptop to practice presentations or to collaborate on a project with others.

Group study room policies

  • Study rooms were developed for student study in the library, and are not available for university seminars, meetings, or other activities.
  • A group is three or more students.
  • Study rooms are not reservable.
  • There are no time limits on the use of the study rooms.
  • Anybody can use a study room if it is vacant. If a group study room is occupied by one or two people and a study group of three or more arrives later and wishes to use the room, the group has precedence for use of the room.
  • At times library staff may post signs indicating that a study room is reserved for a special library instruction session that can't be accommodated in the regular classroom.
