Jan. 15, 2012 – We are shortening the time items you request (from storage, from Newman's shelves, from another branch, or as a recall) are kept on our hold shelf from 10 to 7 days. If you do not pick up your held material before this period expires, it will either be returned to its usual location or automatically switched to the next patron who has placed a request for the item.
You can keep up with your requested materials through My Library Account. Usually, if an item listed there has a status of ON HOLDSHELF, it's waiting for you (unless other people requested it earlier). You'll receive an email when an item is ready, and you can also receive a text message on your phone the instance it is available by signing up for that service.
Sunday: Opens at 9:00 A.M.
Monday-Thursday: 24 Hours
Friday: Closes at 10 P.M.
Saturday: 9:00 A.M.-10:00 P.M.
